Hi, I'm Gerry
What can I say... I love bikes. Riding them, adventuring on them, talking about them, playing with them, building them and fixing them.
I was the kid who would pull my bike apart and put it back together it again just for fun. That grew to mountain bike and road racing. I joined cycling clubs and have spent my holidays riding the peaks of the Tour de France.

For a while corporate life got in the way (but my passion for cycling was always there). In 2016 I took the leap and Gerry’s Bicycle Service & Repair was born. I can honestly say I feel like I haven't worked a day since I started. The joy is in working with the bikes and the people that ride them.
In my spare time you will find me working at the Inner West Community Bike Hub. I also am involved in Ride 2 School programs, that's when I'm not out riding my own bike.
It's true... riding a bike is scientifically proven to elevate your mood, increase your fitness and make you happier. Really!
